A professor at Seneca Polytechnic with a PhD in Mathematics and the Professional Risk Manager designation, he connects analytical depth with practical business decisions. His experience spans teaching, research and applied business work.

Maksim is a Professor of Business and Financial Mathematics and Statistics at Seneca Polytechnic’s School of Business. His work at Toronto Metropolitan University included financial risk, financial derivatives and business and financial mathematics.
His earlier academic appointments include Cardiff University, the International Centre for Theoretical Physics, the National University of Uzbekistan and Moscow State University.
He holds the Professional Risk Manager designation from the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA) and is an author of research articles and books in mathematics, business mathematics and financial mathematics.
